@article{Kon_2022, title={BRAZILIAN LABOR MARKET REGIONAL PATTERNS:: AN APPROACH TO GENDER DIVERGENCES}, url={//www.ipea.gov.br/ppp/index.php/PPP/article/view/160}, abstractNote={<p>Brazil has many labor market gender disparities, which compromise the reduction in poverty<br />and future sustainable development. These gender differences are much more pronounced in a regional approach because of the many local specific social and economic considerations requiring different regional public policies. This paper intends to analyze the regional characteristics of labor market gender differences for the purpose of gaining subsidies for Brazilian public policies. First, theoretical aspects are examined explaining the causes of labor market regional divergences. Following, regional differential indexes are analyzed, calculated by special data tabulations, for the mid?1990’s to 2006, and examining labor variables such as occupation and unemployment, school level, average earnings and working hours, in order to subsidize regional public planning.</p>}, number={33}, journal={Planejamento e Políticas Públicas}, author={Kon, Anita}, year={2022}, month={abr.} }
