Micha van Waesberghe is currently a Specialist in Knowledge and Learning at the Inter-American Development Bank (IDB). With more than 10 years of experience in Knowledge Management, Democratization, and International Affairs, he is responsible for the implementation of the IDB’s ‘Learning from Experience’ strategy, the introduction of innovative knowledge exchange and transfer methodologies, and the development of the Bank’s internet portal platform focused on content visualization, collaboration, and social integration.

He has facilitated knowledge sharing and team workshops across Latin America from Brazil and Argentina to Honduras and Colombia, and is the author of multiple Technical Notes and KM articles, including an ongoing series on Knowledge Management effective practices on LinkedIn. His speaking engagements have included presentations at Cambridge University, the KM World Conference, and the Chilean Biomedical Librarian Conference on topics ranging from human rights to the role of IT in KM.
