SUBMISSION OF ABSTRACTS

1. Term: from September 5 to November 14, 2010
2. Length: up to 10 lines (or up to 500 words)
3. Format: Word, by email
4. Source: Times New Roman, size 12, single space.
5. Data presentation: Title, Committee work, name and surname, institution and function.
6. Address
7. Curriculum Summary: about five lines.
8. Summary of Paper: maximum 500 words.
9. Three keywords

SUBMISSION OF FULL TEXT

1. The full text must be sent together with the summary
2. Extension: 3000 -6000 words. Between 8 and 20 pages.
3. Format: Word, by email (to confirm receipt of the material)
4. Source: Times New Roman, size 12, 1.5 space.
5. Presentation: Title, Name and Surname, Institution, Contact information, text.

IMPORTANT: All papers accepted by the coordinator of each thematic working committees are conditional to registration in time for the conference.

RULES FOR SUBMISSION OF WORK:

All those people who in one way or another to develop tasks teaching or research related to the field of communication are allowed to submit.

It is allowed to participate in only one thematic committee work. Therefore, only accept a registration form indicating the work that is intended to present and their respective working committee.

Papers submitted must not have been published previously.

Participants interested in presenting papers should make their pre-registration directly to the coordinators of Committees / Working Groups in the subject area of interest, from submission of abstract and full paper by email, at the dates mentioned, pre-registration must meet the standards set out in the notice of Congress.

The selection of the work will be undertaken by the coordinators of thematic working committees with the support of the Organizing Committee (in case of doubt) taking power and autonomy to form an evaluation committee with more researchers if it deems necessary.

The coordinators of the Working Groups will assess the abstracts and full papers received, make a selection and, subsequently, each coordinator will plan its response to the following:

- Programming
- Event Name
- Name of coordinator
- Thematic Working Committee
- Name of the author's work
- Name of the university and the country of origin
- Academic Degree
- Email
- Work title
- Summary
- Keywords

The programming will be sent along with the results of those selected to Coordination of Congress in advance.

No degree submissions will be accepted.

The results list will contain the following information:

- Title: List of papers accepted for Working Committee
- Event Name
- Data Coordinator: name, grade, school, country, email
- Name of the selected

REDACTION STANDARDS

- The summaries may not pass the limit of 500 characters (with spaces).
- The text should be 8 to 20 pages, including bibliography, tables, or representations graphs, and present the title, author's name, institution is linked with, abstract 500 characters (with spaces) and three keywords. Must be written in Word (Windows 6.0, 7.0 compatible), 12 points, spaced 1.5.
- Quotations containing more than three lines must to be included in the main text and be placed parentheses, as determined by APA. Appointments that exceed three lines and abstract should be written in font size 11 points, with single spacing.
- The bibliography should be placed at the end of the text, the same source and body, with single spacing.
- If the author of the paper needs to include notes, these will be incorporated only justified in very limited form in size 10 and single line spacing.
- Dispatch via e-mail submissions should be identified with the name most frequently used by the author, in order to facilitate subsequent publication of minutes, indicating the attached information for the committee work, the name of the author of the paper and title of the contribution to the conference.

All information concerning the congress will be published in the official website of the event, indicating the acceptance or rejection of work by email. On the institutional Pan American Congress of Communication - PANAM 2010 - are also full-text papers for consultation by the participants in each working group.

Participation in the congress paper is subject to the payment of compulsory registration via the Internet (registration form available on the official website of the conference).
